Courses are divided into Core Courses and Elective Courses, totaling 28 credits. Students in every department are required to complete 12 credits of Core Courses and 16 credits of Electives. Core Courses cover three major areas: Chinese, English or Foreign Languages, and Information Science and Technology. Elective Courses are classified into four categories: Foreign Languages, Liberal Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.
